Top Snowboards in 2025: The Boards I Use

Before we get started, I am 6’2″ and about 160 LBS. I like varying sizes of boards for different things on the mountain and I will explain that in this post. These are just the sizes that work best for me.

1. The Rossignol Jib Saw “Heavy Duty”

This was my first “real snowboard”. I was on a board that was way too small for me (152 cm) and I was struggling to keep up with my skier friends. I didn’t know much about different types of snowboards or buying snowboards so I found this snowboard on marketplace for a good deal and pulled the trigger. This snowboard will handle anything you throw at it. It is a beast of a snowboard. You can plow through pretty much any snow conditions, it handles high speeds well, it carves well, it lands well. This thing is indestructible, that’s why I use it on the less than ideal snow conditions. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a board that will go fast and smooth down any run. I have this board in a 162 cm with Burton Cartel Bindings.

2. Signal Disruptor

Once I started learning new tricks, I wanted a board that was more flexible and playful. This board is great for mid season when there is 0-6 inches of fresh snow, and you are ready to have a blast. This board is good in the park, good on side hits, and will handle any named run easily. For a more playful ride I would recommend sizing down, personally I sized down to a 158cm. This board is responsive and a blast to ride so I would totally recommend it to anyone who is ready to start learning some tricks. I have Union Flight Pro bindings on this board.

3. Bataleon Camel Toe

I felt like I was missing a board for those endless powder days, that is why I got the Bataleon Camel Toe. This board absolutely FLOATS in powder. Bataleon is kind of in a league of their own with snowboards and it is completely different than anything I have ever ridden. This board really gives you that surfing feeling. This board is great for tight trees and wide open glades. If you’re looking for a board for those deep days, this is the one. Mine is 158cm and is on the matching Bataleon bindings. I went with a shorter board to help in the trees, yes it still floats very well.

 4. Korua Shapes Escalator Split Plus

This board is insane. I recently got into backcountry snowboarding and wanted a split-board. I found this board at a ski swap and knew I had to buy it. The build quality is incredible, the float is incredible. It seems to climb really well when I am using it split into skis, I love the overall design. It’s not overly heavy for a split board which is really nice because when you are in the backcountry, you feel every ounce. I have Karakoram’s split board bindings on this and I could not ask for a better combo. I have this board in a 160cm which seems to be perfect for me. This board will turn, pop, drop, and surf through powder with ease. It’s hard to describe how good this board is so you just have to try it out.

That’s all for my 2024/2025 board lineup, if you have any questions feel free to contact me.
