These are the essential clothes that I pack on every single adventure that I go on. From backpacking to rafting, these are the clothes that I pack the most that never let me down when it comes to versatility and durability.
Patagonia Down Sweater
This is the best piece of clothing I own by far. Whether your going out to hit the town or you’re climbing a mountain this down jacket will keep you comfortable. This jacket doesn’t feel overly bulky and layers beautifully with the rest of your gear.
Salomon Men’s X Ultra Pioneer Hiking Boot
I’ve had these boots for over 3 years and they have shown little to no wear. They have excellent traction and will get you up any hiking trail. These are breathable and awesome for any season except winter, for winter add some wool socks. They had little to no break in time and were great straight out of the box.
Kuhl Renegade Cargo Convertible
These pants are breathable and quick drying which is ideal for exploration. The zip off legs are nice for when it gets warm but they feel super light when I hike so I usually don’t even convert them to shorts.
Carhartt Insulated Pants
These will save your life during the winter. If your walking down town they look like normal pants but feel like your wearing pajamas. If your setting up camp in the snow, these are durable and warm with a lose fit.
Carhartt Double Knees
Do you want to look like a lumberjack but have no idea what you are doing around camp, these are perfect for you. The most durable pants on this list. You will look like every random Utah teenager so get ready for that.
Carhartt Wool Socks
These socks are life changing. They work so well with boots and are thin enough not to cook your feet while you’re doing physical activities.
Smartwool Socks
These are the best hiking socks you can buy. No blisters and great sweat wicking technology.
Kuhl Thor Quarter zip
Super solid quarter zip for when it’s a nice fall day and you want to wear it alone or when you want to layer up for a cold day. This quarter zip fits me perfectly and feels like a warm hug.
Patagonia Swim Shorts
You always need a good pair of swim shorts for any adventure. Whether it’s hot tubbing or swimming down a river these are the most comfortable. Why these are such a game changer for me is because how comfortable they are under a wet suit.
Patagonia Torrent Shell
This shell serves as an amazing wind breaker or rain jacket for any conditions. I have stood in the rain with this jacket on for hours on end and never gotten wet. For the price you can’t beat it.
Patagonia Torrent Shell Rain Pants
These keep me dry and are super light weight so its easy to pack. I used to not pack rain pants until I found these and they are so worth it for the weight and space. I bring these on every trip and you should too.
